Mark Patterson qualified for tomorrows 800m semi-final (Sat @14:10 Canada time) at the IAAF World Junior Championship as 4th fastest outside 1st 3 in each heat. Drawn in lane 7 in a tough heat, Mark performed well to place 4th in 1:50.47, just behind GB athlete Adam Cotton who was 3rd (1:50.24). Unfortunately that was as far as he was to go as he fell foul of the track judges in the semi final resulting in a disqualification.
