Mark Patterson secured a place in tomorrow"s 800m semi"s in the European Junior Championship with 4th place in heat 5 in 1:51.43, just behind GB"s Robbie Schofield. Qualification for one of the 3 semi"s was first 4 and 4 fastest losers and Mark"s race was quick enough for the 5th & 6th placed athletes to progress also. Mark is drawn in semi-final 1 scheduled for 16:05 local time in Serbia on Saturday (Qualification to final: 1st 2 & 2 fastest losers).
