[Not a valid template]North Down had 6 athletes in Swansea on Saturday competing in Northern Ireland teams at the Masters International Cross Country. In the W45 category Hilary Kernaghan and Lynne Kerr were 18th and 20th in 30:30 and 28:43 min while at W45 Stephanie Hambling was 17th in 30:10 min. Tony Wall was 27th in the M50 race while at M60and M65, David Seaton and Fred Murdock were both 12th in 36:28 and 29:19 min respectively.
Also on Saturday in Gateshead at the first McCains UK Challenge cross country event Jessica Craig, now studying on Tyneside, was 33rd in the Junior Womens race in 20:48 min while triple jumper Laura Loughlin ran two 1 mile legs for Queens at Maynooth [n the Irish Univertitie Road Relay Championships in 6:30 min and 6:40 min.
