[Not a valid template][Not a valid template]The Masters Championships took place on Saturday at Bangor Sportsplex with the threatened heavy downpours holding off though there were one or two showers and strong variable winds. Enough to encourage athletes to compete and go and the programme tailed away later in the day. There was a good effort from the home team with category wins the norm and outright wins for the girls. The masters stats certainly needed revision at the end so it was a good effort all round. There was also an IMC meeting at Dublin alongside the Crusaders G.V. Ryan Meet. Jordan Stokes missed going under 9 minutes for 3000m but came away with a pb of 9:01.75 min.
