The Chiltern Hills was the venue for the first of the X Series events on Saturday. The 50K route took in ancient woodlands, prehistoric pathways that date back to before Roman times and a section along the Grand Union Canal.
Dale Murray and Matty McParland turned up at the event and left with Dale winning the race and Matty claiming 3rd place.
Dale covered the 33.5 miles in 4 hours 46 minutes, and Matty finished in 4 hours 50 minutes.
Well done to both our podium finishers.
