Though school things tended to get in the way a bit and North Down were drawn in by far the strongest of the two matches, the club finished a safe 6th after Round 1. Despite an inter school match and a Duke of Edinburgh, athletes dipped in and out on the day. The U17’s led the way with some big points earned by Glen Willis, Matthew Martin, Matthew Stockton, Cydnie McCullough, Beth Wilson and the others. Michael McComb, Abbey Taylor and Alex Catherwood led the way at U15 with good support. The U13’s were mostly from primary schools and will have benefited by the experience.
Round 2 will be in Derry on Saturday 8th May.
