Moira Cross Country

Moira Demesne was very wet and muddy on Saturday for the City of Lisburn cross country but the entry was good. In the female 3 lap race Jessica Craig, Stephanie Hambling and Julie Balmer were 5th, 6th and 7th, Stephanie taking the F40 prize. Glen Willis and Thomas Simpson led the North Down contingent in 17th and 19th places with David Seaton winning at M65. A good contingent of youngsters ran the junior races, basically in school age categories with Abbey Taylor winning the Year 10 girls and Jamie McMeechan 4th in the boys race.
