City of Lisburn club hosted their annual xc event in Moira on Saturday in great conditions for running.
In the junior events North Down had a successful representation with our young athletes featuring in all their races. Niamh Fenlon won the girls primary school race and Oliver Smith was second in the boys race. In the year 9 race Adam Skelly made it home in 4th, showing product from his recent strong training.
The senior races included one runner in each of the mens and ladies races. Sarah Lindsay ran a great race to finish second amongst strong opposition and Pat O’Driscoll flew the ND flag in the mens race.
