By way of variety the road session on Monday night consisted of a not-too-serious handicap of about 4 miles from the Sportsplex to Ballyrobert and back with an opening and closing lap of the track. Runners were sent off in 5 different groups. A healthy 43 runners took part with the winner Gerry Coy from Frazer Duncan and Sarah Benton taking the ladies race from Jodi Smith.
