Richard Lockhart had the best North Down performance at the annual fixture at Antrim Stadium with a whopping 6 metre improvement on his senior weight hammer pb. Richard was 2nd and using his reserve status to compete as a guest. Michael Dyer was 2nd in the race of the day, the 800m with a season’s best and an eletric pb while Michael McConkey won javelin and Jeremy Harper shot. 12 club athletes competed for NI, 1 for the Universities and 1 guested. NI U23 won narrowly overall.
