Some of North Down AC’s junior athletes achieved podium places while they were competing against their peers from across NI & Ulster at the Indoor Age Group Championships in Athlone on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March. Cameron McCracken, 24.22 was second in the U-16 boys 200m and Joshua Chacko, 23.37 was also second in the U-18 boys 200m. Ethan Constable, 2:22.3 won the U-14 boys 800m (photo below) and Ethan Isles, 2:05.38 was second in the U-18 boys 800m. Caoimhe Fenlon, 10.42 came third in the U-14 girls 60m hurdles. In the U-16 long jump Daniel Constable was third in the U-16 long jump with a distance of 4.23m and narrowly missed a podium in the U-16 400m finishing 4th with a new PB of 54.8.
