Nick Irvine sliced 10 seconds off his Half-Marathon pb in Sunday’s Great North Run, placing 763rd in 88:47 out of a 50,000 field. Nick’s previous pb was set in last year’s GNR and went into this years edition with a badly bruised toe, but still managed a well judged even pace run – in the cool and wet conditions.
