North Down girls were in great form at the Civil Service cross country promotion at Stormont where Jessica Craig won the U15 girls race, Vicky Clegg, Nicola McCaughey and Claire Dodds were 2nd, 5th and 8th in the Womens Open and Kerry Iveston missed the U17′s by a second. Jamie Stewart was best of the men and Brian Smith again took the O60′s.
Conditions were ideal with brilliant sunshine and firm ground with snow only on the sunless stretches.
