While most North Down AC athletes might have taken a day off after the Crawfordsburn Trail Race, David McKeague and Clair Quigley put their trail shoes on again on Thursday 3rd August as they tackled the Northern Ireland Mountain Running Association Scrabo Tower race. The challenging 6.4km course through Killynether Forest and past the quarries up to Scrabo Tower included more than 365m of ascent. David finished 9th in 31:38 with Clair finishing in equal 50th place in 38:36.
