A dozen runners from the club turned out in Ormeau Park on Saturday for the NIVA 5 mile road race with Simon Seaton and Niall Robinson doing best in 9th and 12th (27:53 and 28:35 min). Mark Weir was our first vet and Debbie Matchett our first woman while Category wins at M60 and M65 went to David Seaton and Fred Murdock. Eddie McGinley after a long absence was the race winner in 25:38 min. On the same day in Cambridge, Robin Brownsecured blues selection with 3rd place (33:47) in the Cuppers 6m xc race.
