[Not a valid template]In the absence of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, Daphne Hamill as Senior Past Chairman presided at Wednesday”s agm of North Down AC for the year 2007. There was little change in the elections for officers with Jill Dowie taking over from Lynne Kerr as womens endurance Captain and Gemma McAnirn remaining as track and field Captain as did James Budde and Brendan McConville in the corresponding mens posts. Ange Perrott was elected on to the Senior Committee.
The Secretary reported fully on another successful year with the obvious highlights being the retention of the mens All-Ireland League along with third in the British League Plate and we were finally able to take possession of the All-Ireland League trophy itself – truly a magnificent piece of silverware. The womens” track and field section advanced significantly as did both mens” and womens” cross country and road sections.
