[Not a valid template]After the disappointments of a year ago when North Down as Irish Champions could not compete in the European Champion Clubs Cup due to the cancellation of the “C” Division Final it looked as if history was about to repeat itself. Again we are Irish Champions and again the “C” Division Final is cancelled but this time a withdrawal has opened up a place in the “B” Division Final. Both “A” and “B” finals will take place on the weekend of 24th-25th May at Vila Real Sto. in Antonio, Portugal. North Down will compete against the Champion Clubs of Great Britain (City of Manchester AC), Israel, Denmark, Netherlands, Serbia, Germany, Switzerland and Finland. With the urgent necessity of getting plane tickets at a better price, all members of the Senior Mens Team should confirm their interest and availabity to Brendan, John or Francis asap. Other club members should stand by for some serious fundraising.
