As the NDAC contribution to the North Down Youth Games, a multi-sports series of events promoted by the Borough Council during May and June, cross country races for Primary School children were held in Castle Park on Monday evening. Despite the clash with the Track and Field Schools event which is being held in Ward Park all this week, there was a huge response from schools, athletes and parents which saw 74 finishers in the 4 races and produced great atmosphere. It was the final event in the Youth Games and a suitable finale. Thanks to all club members who assisted and to the Borough Council staff, particularly to Jonathan Moffett, the Development Officer who collated the results.
