The weather was also miserable in Omagh on Saturday for the Spar Half Marathon which nevertheless still had more than 8700 finishers. Simon Seaton in 19th place was the first North Down runner in 79:08 min while there were good runs also from Nick Arkensparr in 82:21 min and Simon Cummings in 92:52 min. Across the pond the College relay season continued with the Louisiana State University Relays. Michael Dyer and Jordan Neil were both in the McNeese distance medley relay team which posted 10:17.85 min.
