The second Open Graded Meet at Mary Peters on Tuesday night took place in glorious sunshine and drew in a good number of the club senior athletes. Amy Foster and lKenny Elliott won the womens" and mens" 200m and the distance was also contested by Kim Shaw, Ryan Crawford and Matthew McMullan. The 1500m drew the biggest numbers and there were significant pbs for Kerry Iveston, Nicola Simpson, Mark Patterson and Niall Robinson, Mark going sub 4 minutes and Niall moving to 3rd in the all time Junior rankings. Mark Weir returned to the track and posted a 1500m time. In the field Jeremy Harper and Kathy Hetherington won the two discus events and Tom Reynolds and Peter Glass got their fix at discus and high jump. The following day at the Birmingham Uni BMC races, Lauren Scott won her 800m in 2:20.83.
