Conditions at Victoria Park on Saturday morning were just about ideal – sunny, clear and crisp- and the North Down runners were among those taking full advantage and collecting at least a venue pb. Debbie Matchett won the ladies race in 19:35 min equalling her 5K outright pb at the Waterworks a couple of years ago. Tony Wall in 19:29 min and 10th had a course pb, Craig McMeechan in 19:41 and David McMeechan in 21:10 had outright pbs. Steve Wise in 14th ran 19:42 and Alison Wise ran 25:27.
This Saturday at 9.30am will see the first race at Ecos Park, Ballymena which will become the fourth Northern Ireland ParkRun venue.
