On a Saturday when ice again caused the cancellations of both Bangor and Waterworks parkruns, several athletes managed to get their run in. A dozen or so went to Victoria Park where results include 19:09 min by Terry Eakin and 20:44 by the youthful Nia McNally who was 2nd lady. Rachel Gibson has never been beaten by a female runner in any of her 21 parkruns at various venues. Rachel returned to the Queens event where she had another course pb, leading in 18:50 min. The furthest traveller seems to have been Craig McMeechan who is another on a winning streak and has not been headed in a parkrun since April 2014. Craig finished first in the Greenock parkrun in 17:05 min, 85 secs clear of 2nd place.
