2 North Down AC runners completed their final road race in the lead up to the London Marathon when they ran the Dundalk 10k on Wednesday 17th April. Sarah Gibson and Paula Simpson took the opportunity to test their marathon race pace and ensure that all the kit they’ll be wearing at the marathon is comfortable, following the well known marathon adage – nothing new on race day! The course started in the south of Dundalk and headed to the coast before returning inland to the Co Louth town. Sarah completed the 10k in 44:02 and Paula finished in 48:36.
