Nearly 300 runners ran the Portaferry 10 mile race where the threatened rain held off though the winds were strong. Simon Seaton in 5th was first North Down runner home in57:13 mi with Andrew Muir 45th in 66:53 min. Roberta Dornan was 3rd female in 68:45 min with Stephanie Hambling 4th female and first F40. Jill Dowie and Ange Perrott were 2nd and 3rd F35 while Norman Lellyett and Brian Barron were 2nd male relay team. As a result of being 5th female in the open race Jill got a prize which enabled Ange to receive the 2nd F35 prize.
