The Monday night sessions for Primary School children have now finished although there will be some continuation for those heading into the main club. Up to seventy kids have attended the sessions and there were more than a hundred at the North Down Youth Games promoted by the Council and the Club and supported by Phoenix Gas. These were a big success with 4 x 100m relays and 4 x 50m shuttles but the highlights were the ten heats of 800m. Shades of the Milers Club events.
The finals of the North Down Primary School Sports Association, also supported by Phoenix Gas also produced another great atmosphere and featured many of the Monday night kids.
