Bitter cold and strong winds greeted the Queens 5K on Wednesday but there were still towards 700 finishers, 24 from North Down. Actually 25 but for one red-faced member April 1st came a day early when he neglected to attach his chip. Despite that, the mens team still picked up the 3rd team prize while the girls were 4th. Top club male runners were Robin Brown 12th, Niall Robinson 18th, Jordan Stokes 25thth and Simon Seaton 27th with Gary Swenarton 1st M55 and David Seaton 1st M60. Our top girls were Roberta Dornan, 5th girl and 1st F35, Jessica Craig 7th lady and 1st Junior, and Lauren Scott 19th lady. Roberta improved her own club 5K record.
