The first race of the year was on New Years Day in the Glens of Antrim for the "Race over the Glens", a tough off-road trail race from Glenariff Forest Park over 5.5 miles of very hilly terrain. Course specialists Jarlath Falls and Anne Paul took the mens and womens races. Current and former Club Cross Country Captains, Lynne Kerr and Stephanie Hambling had good runs for North Down. Lynne was 4th in a strong F40 field and Stephanie showed she is approaching full fitness again with 2nd F35.
