There were 229 finishers in the Glens of Antrim for the first race of 2008. The Race over the Glens is a tough off-road trail race from Glenariff Forest Park over 5.5 miles of very hilly terrain. Tony Wall was first in for North Down in 40:10 min in 37th place with Gerry O”Boyle in 65th. Stephanie Hambling was 8th Lady and 3rd F35 in 44:09 min. Course specialist Jarlath Falls of Ballymena retained his title for his 4th win in 5 years with Anne Paul of City of Derry top lady.North Down results
