Paul Blaney (North Belfast) was already leading the Country Parks Series going into the the third and final round at Redburn Forest Park and on a thoroughly wet night he won by 47 secs from Richard Rodgers with Alwynne Shannon the first woman. North Down continued their excellent participation rate with 14 runners, the best being again Simon Seaton who was 4th on the evening and among a tight cluster for 3rd. He was 3rd in the series going in and retained that position. There 64 finishers about half of whom did all 3 races. Full results for the series will follow.
