Roberta Dornan successfully defended her womens’ title in the rugged Les Jones 10K on Friday night, this time as an F35 adding a category win. With a time of 39:12 min Roberta ran a minute faster than a year ago as did Debbie Matchett who could not quite repeat last year’s F40 win but was 2nd in the category this time. Simon Seaton in 11th was the first North Down man home in 35:19 min. The race was on mixed terrain and had its share of testing hills but there were 14 finishers from the club.
