On a course which will provide much of the Olympic Marathon course, Robin Brown was 72nd over the weekend in the BUPA London 10K, won by a jetlagged Mo Farragh. Robin ran a pb of 32:33 min about 10 sec behind female winner Jo Pavey who gazumped him in the run-in. His splits were 15:50 and 16:38 so he probably went off rather hard. The race also marked a disappointing return to action for Paula Radcliffe. Robin’s next race in Northern Ireland will likely be the Ards half marathon..
