At the 6.7K trail race Norman Lellyett ran 28.34 and Hugh Young ran 33.45. In the M60 section, where competitiveness continues to increase, Norman was 3rd and Hugh 5th. The race was won by Gregory Walsh from Eddie King.Former North Down Junior Ian Lyle is now a vet under the new rules and, competing under Hi Elbow Triathlon Club, was second M35 vet in 24.31.
