Roger Sexton was in Tullamore on Saturday for the Woodies DIY AAI Irish Masters Championships where he continued what he has been doing all season – the rewriting of the club Veteran Records. In the process he collected two Irish titles at 100m and 200m. The times of 11.50 and 23.66 secs not only won the over 40 titles, they were the fastest of the day including the over 35’s. Michael Roberts picked up two further medals, in this case bronze, finishing 3rd in both over 60 400m and 800m in 67.48 sec and 2:34.83 min respectively.
