The Northern Ireland and Ulster Even Age Cross Country Championships took place in Rostrevor before the Bobby Rea Senior Races were held, Championships wer U10, U12, U14 and U18 for both boys and girls with four to count. North Down had a much improved turnout this season and there were good runs from Charlie Alexander, John McNally and Finlay Miller ar at U12 boys, Murphy Miller at U12 girls, Mollie Brown, Lauren Hamilton and Nia McNally at U14 girls and from Corey Bown at U18 boys. Unfortunately the lack of a complete quartet I any age group thwarted hopes of team success but the results were very encouraging.
