With the upper lake frozen and black ice on the footpaths the Waterworks ParkRun was cancelled but the one in Victoria Park went ahead. In his first event Denis Scott was 6th in 17:58 min. Darren McKee was 7th in 18:12 and Terry Eakin was 13th in 19:57 in his 60th ParkRun, soon to beat his age. Pat O’Driscoll was 42nd in 29:29. Terry being Terry of course, this was only warm-up and he subsequently headed off to Stormiont for the Santa Trail 5K where he was 9th in 19:12 min.
