[Not a valid template]North Down Senior Men took the second place team prize behind City of Derry in the McConnell Shield at the Riverside Park in Ballyclare on Saturday.with James Budde 8th, Francis Marsh 9th, Michael Dyer 15th and Simon Seaton 20th, ably backed up by Nicklas Arkensparr 28th and Thomas Simpson 54th. Vets prizes were won by Francis 1st M40, Fred Murdock 1st M65 and Ken Hawtin 1st M70. There was no team prize awarded in the Womens” race but if there had been it would have gone to Stephanie Hambling 7th, Debbie Matchett 11th and Nicola Simpson 14th with Stephanie winning at F35 and Debbie 2nd at F40. It was a similar story with the Under 16 Boys except that they upstaged everyone with a 1-2-3 finish from Brian Barron, Jordan Stokes and Matthew McMullan while Leigh McWha was 4th Under 16 Girl.
