Seeley Cup 10K Road Race

North Down had another record turnout at the Seeley Cup 10K road race with 19 men and 10 women competing. It is a credit to the good work done in recent months in the Monday night group that so many first timers finished and with respectable times. Simon Seaton was first club athlete home and then James Agar and Gary Swenarton. David Seaton won the M60 group with Derek Jeffers, Norman Lellyett and Brian Smith 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the age group while Hugh Young was first M65. Hilary Kernaghan led the North Down girls home from Debbie Matchett and Ange Perrott. Hilary and Lynne Kerr were 3rd and 5th at F40 while the ladies team finished 4th.

Paddy Hamilton won the race for Annadale in 30:40 from Paul Rowan and James Connor while Kelly Reid was first lady. There were 405 finishers.
