Our athletes were in sensational form at an admittedly windy Tullamore in the Schools Interprovincial. The Regent House quartet had David Keys, 2nd 5Kg hammer, 51.17m; Peter Glass, 1st 100m hurdles, 13.4 secs; Scott McCauley, 2nd triple jump, 13.04m; Caroline Oakes, 1st javelin, 33.30m.
