The latest race in the Novosco 10k series took place in Tandragee on Sunday.
In what was a fairly flat and, by it’s geographical location, a country road route Francis Marsh battled it out at the front of the pack and succeeded in finishing 2nd, 30 seconds behind the winner and 4 seconds ahead of 3rd followed by James Budde and Dennis Scott crossing the line within 3 seconds of each other yet again, finising 4th and 5th, 34:59 and 35:02.
Terry Eakin running his usual strong race finished in 39:29 and claimed 14th place and Roy Sittlington, a regular at the Novosco events, finished in 44th place with a 47:19 time. John McGarvey was next in with 53rd position with a time of 48:49 and the North Down entry was completed with Cliff McCausland clocking 51:55 and 66th place and Valerie Blaney making it home in 54:12 and 79th.
A very successful outing for the club and not only will each runner benefit from their run within Novosco, the club will surely improve it’s status within the ranking.
