The girls are in

The team was very small and it was a case of grinding out results but it has paid off for the North Down girls with the news that they finished in seventh place in Division 1 of the AAI National League. They will now be in the Division 1 Final at Tullamore on Sunday, hopefully with an expanded and strengthened team. The positions of the top eight finalists are as follows.

North Down are thus one of only three clubs that will have both Mens and Womens teams at the finals Congratulations in particular to the girls for reaching the finals and we hope as many as possible will make themselves available.
