North Down athletes were well to the fore at the inaugural East Down AC Rollercoaster road race event held in beautiful conditions at Downpatrick Racecourse yesterday. Glen Willis ran brilliantly to win the 2.5k race and with great runs from Roger Dawson 3rd and Sam McKibbin in 10th the boys won the U15 team prize. In the U17 Boys 3k event Connor O”Boyle ran a very well judged race to finish in a very credible 3rd place. In the Open 5k event David Seaton was first O/60, Kerry Iveston was 3rd lady and there were good performances from Tony Wall, Pat O”Driscoll and NDAC newest member Terry Eakin
