Athletics Northern Ireland has been invited to enter a team into this event to compete against the counties and districts of England, Scotland and Wales in the Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s events. Unfortunately, as this event clashes with the All-Ireland Schools Cross Country, junior teams have not been selected on this occasion.

Tom Reynolds, Performance Lead said, “We are pleased to be sending some of our best cross-country runners to this event as it gives them the opportunity to test themselves against the best the UK has to offer. The fields will be very competitive as each county and region in the UK select their strongest runners. The Senior teams are made up of athletes that are demonstrating good progression and will hold their own in this competition. It will give them the opportunity to finish their cross-country season on a high note.”
