Yet another event lost to Bangor Sportsplex saw the Ulster Schools Multi Events Championships at Mary Peters Track. North Down girls featured with Hannah Lewis taking the Junior Girls, Erin Mullan the Senior Girls and Katie Hewitt 2nd again to Linzi Herron in the Intermediate Girls. Hannah equalled her high jump pb but her 800m pb was invalid due to the absence of a gun. Katie had a big pb in the shot. Katie will go again at the weekend, as will the other two Intermediate Girls when they all represent Northern Ireland in the British and Irish Combined Events International to be held this year at Mary Peters Track.
