The Ulster Schools Championship opened on Friday night with David Keys winning the Imtermediate Hammer in a new pb of 52.98m with one throw out of the sector but about 53.30m. Robin Brown with 9:27.2 also had a pb in a high quality Intermediate 3000m race won by Andrew Gourley with Robin 5th. In the Intermediate Girls 3000m Jessica Craig was 7th in 12::35.8.
