St Mary’s based Jordan Stokes won the multi-terrain Bushy park 10k on Sunday in a new course record of 33:34 (eclipsing 1 sec from the previous best) a few days after his 18th place in 123 strong field mid-week London colleges league cross-country league race in Richmond Pk. Josh Lowry made his debut for Loughborough Students with an opening leg of the English Cross Country Relay Championships in Mansfield on Saturday, Josh ran 10:08 for the 3k xc circuit in an incomplete ‘C’ team, but was much quicker than 2 team mates in the ‘B’ team. Robin Brown started his cross-country season with a run over 7.5miles at Wimbledon common in the annual Cambridge Uni H&H verus Thames Hare & Hounds mob match.
