Ben Caughers leap-frogged to the top of the mens rankings after the Ards Half Marathon and with only 2 rounds to go, thows no sign of relinquishing it.. He now has a 25 point lead over Nick Irvine and 26 over Dennis Scott and there are now only 40 possible points left. Stephen Wylie is unbeaten since he joined the competition at the half way point but is also running out of events. Catherine Roberts has dominated the ladies group but her stranglehold was loosened by her non-appearance at Potaferry and fast-finishing Nikki Heywod is noe within 14 points.
