There was more good running in the second of the Walsin series although there were fewer club vests around. Glen Willis, Roger Dawson and Harry Speers were 1st (5:07.4), 3rd (5:13.8) and 4th (5:19.0) in the U15 1500m and Glen was also 2nd in the high jump. There was a good run by John Carlisle to place 4th in the senior 1500m race in 4:03.0 with Francis Marsh 4:13.0 and Jessica Craig 5:18.8. Also on Thursday evening in Rostrevor, Mark Hopkins carried the flag at Hill & Dale 3, covering the 4.3 mile, 1600ft Slieve Martin course in 54:06 min for 129th.
