Rarely a weekend goes by at this time of year without a club member taking part in a Marathon, and this weekend was no exception.
On Saturday Cara Hamilton completed the Causeway ‘More than a Marathon’, a marathon following the coastal route from Ballycastle to Portrush, with all proceeds in aid of Headway, a brain injury charity. Despite the hills and challenging route, Cara still managed to smile for the camera.
Across the water in Gloucester, Andy Belshaw completed the Gloucester City marathon in a respectable time of 3hrs, 31 mins. On a scorcher of a day, plus hills quite nasty in places, this should make his next marathon, number 19, much easier!
