The younger ones made the running so to speak at the two road races over the weekend. At the Killyleagh 5 Mile race on Friday evening Brian Barron 14th in 30:20min and Jordan Stokes 24th in 31:38 min, one place ahead of the rather older Gary Swenarton. Jessica Craig moved back into form at the big Up & Running 5K race for women in Sydenham on Sunday afternoon. Contrary to an incorrect press report issued on the day, Jessica was 6th in 21:06 min while Ange Perrott was just outside the top ten with 11th in 22:05 min.
