Mark Carberry Podium 5k, Barrowford, Lancashire 09/11/24

Some big news of the weekend was Mark Carberry’s sub 15 min 5k road PB of 14:51 set at the Podium 5k road race event at Barrowford, Lancashire on Saturday night over a 5 lap course. Reflecting on the effort to take such a huge chunk off his pb, Mark said “Felt hard the whole way – mentally tough with so many laps. Really had to push the last km to hold on” and went on to say he was looking forward to racing the Seeley 10k on 30th November.
